About Infomigo
Infomigo is a privacy-respecting search engine that aggregates results from multiple sources without storing any information about you or your searches.
Why use Infomigo?
- Your searches stay private – Infomigo never builds a profile about you.
- Your queries are never shared with third parties and cannot be used to compromise you.
- Results are pulled from multiple sources so you get broad, unbiased coverage.
How do I set it as my default search engine?
Infomigo supports OpenSearch. For more information on changing your default search engine, see your browser’s documentation:
- Firefox
- Microsoft Edge – the link also covers Chrome and Safari.
- Chromium-based browsers only add websites the user navigates to without a path.
When adding a search engine there must be no duplicates with the same name. If you cannot add it, remove any existing entry named “Infomigo” and try again.
How does it work?
Infomigo queries multiple search engines at the same time, merges the results, and returns them to you without logging your activity. The stats page shows anonymous usage statistics about the underlying engines.
